Introduction

Sub Director Mr. NANANE Kazurou, National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Prevention, Tsukuba, Japan, and his colleagues have been carrying out intensive water balance measurement in Khuwae Noi River watershed. This study was done under the cooperative project named "Hydrological Process Study in the Tropical Region" in which National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Prevention, Japan and Office of Hydrology and Water Management, RID, Thailand were involved.

Their observation continued for 5 years, from April 1996 to March 2001 (Currently opened dataset is for the period from April 1996 to March 2000 ). The main items are rainfall, river discharge, basic weather and radiation, soil moisture.

This page contains the complete copy of their final dataset product. Sub Director Nakane provided this dataset to GAME-T data center.
