Introduction

EGAT Tower Observation site (about 99'25'47.5''E, 16'56'23.5''N after GPS measurement in Nov. 2000) is one of GAME-T related flux observation sites. It also belongs to GAME-AAN outside of GAME-T WWW Site .

A high tower of EGAT has been used for intensive flux observation. Data is being collected mainly by Dr. Ohte, Kyoto Univ., Japan.

Photographs of this site are available at GAME-AAN site (-->Photooutside of GAME-T WWW Site).

Site / Equipment Specification

Now (From 2002) this site is under the control of KOFLUX (Korean Flux network) project and the site description is well written in their site at : http://koflux.org/site/egat/site_info.htm outside of GAME-T WWW Site

Descripition of equipment used in experiments by Dr. Ohte and Dr. Toda during 1998 and 1999 are well described at Toda et al.(2002)

High-resolution Flux Data
Result of the observation at the EGAT Tower (Raw data, in 10Hz interval) provided by Mr. Toda, FFPRI, Japan. Notice : this dataset is not in the GAME-AAN's official format.

GAME-AAN Dataset of Tak Station
As written above, EGAT tower is one of selected station of GAME-AAN (the station name is 'TAK'). You can obtain 1998 datasets freely for academic purpose from GAME-AAN's database. On the courtesy of GAME-AAN DB Manager, Dr. Miyazaki, GAME-T was permitted to make a mirrored dataset of their data in GAME-T Datacenter. When using this datasets, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AAN's DATA POLICY written in the file shown above and follow regulations.

Daily Photograph from EGAT Tower
Photographs automatically taken from middle of EGAT Tower. You can easily see the seasonal change of color of land surface by these photographs taken with semi-fisheye lens. 2002 Mar. 12 New!
