Field investigations were undertaken to determine the irrigation and drainage and the interaction with groundwater. The field investigation included: (a) drilling 23 wells; (b) gauging irrigation and drainage from 1980 to 2002; (c) determining canal loss parameters of different classified canal; and (d) determining typical crop type and irrigation scheduling.
