To [[Main_Page]]Since the special field observation campaigns of MAHASRI and its related international projects on the Asian Monsoon such as AMY (Asian Monsoon Years, 2007-2012) have been successfully carried out, the Journal of the Meteorological Society of Japan (JMSJ) invites authors to submit papers for the Special Issue on MAHASRI (Monsoon Asian Hydro-Atmosphere Scientific Research and Prediction Initiative). The aim of this special issue is to solicit and publish papers that provide new findings obtained in the observation campaigns, new understanding of the Asian Monsoon and its variability mechanism through modeling studies and data analyses related to these projects, which will contribute to the advance of monsoon research in the world. The articles to be published, page limitations and charge, style of the manuscript, and the editorial process of the special issue is almost the same as that of the regular issues of JMSJ, as shown in “Information for Contributors” on the back cover page of JMSJ volume or on the web page, http://wwwsoc.nii.ac.jp/msj/JMSJ/JMSJ_contrib.html
